National AccessAbility Week 2022: Moving Forward Together

Description

National AccessAbility Week (NAAW), held from May 29 to June 4, 2022, is a time to celebrate the contributions of Canadians with disabilities and promote efforts to increase accessibility and inclusion in Canada.

As just one activity in support of NAAW 2022, this event showcases authentic stories and insights of people with lived experiences on how to build a more accessible public service, and in turn a more accessible Canada. Panellists will discuss some of the ongoing barriers to inclusion, practical tools and strategies to remove them, and the benefits of applying an intersectional approach to disability inclusion in the workplace.

Everyone has a part to play in creating a diverse, inclusive and accessible public service.

This event is presented in partnership with the Office of Public Service Accessibility.
